Students advised to join vocational training institutes

Ainabkoi Member of Parliament William Chepkut  has promised to meet school fees for all students joining the newly established Kipkabus Technical Training Institute from his constituency.
The MP regretted of the low number of students from his constituency who have so far enrolled in new TTI to pursue technical courses.
“The Jubilee government has equipped the institute with some of the latest training materials among them machines but I’m so disappointed of those in this college from my own constituency,” the lawmaker said.
As an incentive to boost the enrolment of local students, the MP has promised to pay tuition fees and that the parents should only concentrate on their welfare.
The trend, the MP noted has been witnessed across Rift Valley region leaving the facilities established in many constituencies for students from other regions.
He spoke at Chemundu Secondary school in Chesumei constituency in Nandi where he was one of the key speakers during a sub-county education day.
