Accompanied by Chief Principal Hellen Anyanga and Deputy Principal Humphrey Musuya, Makali said that he expected to perform well but not to that level.

He thanked God, his teachers, parents and fellow students for his pushing him to realize the stellar performance.

Makali, who was the top student out of 330 candidates at the school, said that he aspires to join Moi University to study Medicine to fulfill his dream of helping the less fortunate to access affordable healthcare services.

He said that it does not matter where one studies but it is through discipline, hard work and dedication that one succeeds.

His sentiments were echoed by Julius Korir an English teacher at the school.
