Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament Shadrack Mose has warned school B.O.Ms against mismanaging CDF funds in his constituency.
Speaking at Riabagaka, Kiomomoso, Geteni and Nyariacho Primary Schools where he disbursed Shs1 million to each school, Mose noted that some BOM members collude with head teachers and contractors in embezzling funds meant for developments in their institutions.
He warned that those involved had their days numbered as they would face the full force of the law once investigations are complete.
The legislator urged parents to ensure that funds in schools are properly used and that they should take the education of their children seriously.
‘Education is the only way to eradicate poverty in this region,’ he said.
He challenged teachers to address the poor education standards in the constituency.
Mose decried the high number of his constituents who have succumbed to Covid -19 and challenged all the residents to strictly observe the health protocols.
