Kangundo MP has distributed 9,000+ books to schools

The Member of Parliament (MP) of Kangundo, Fabian Muli has distributed over 9,000 books to both primary and secondary institutions.

Muli acknowledged the educational challenges within the sub-county and pledged his commitment to its revitalization.

He expressed his readiness to collaborate with stakeholders and emphasized his open-door policy for discussions aimed at improving education.

Additionally, the MP promised to assist exam candidates with food resources if the budget permits.

“I have also submitted applications for four tertiary institutions to establish a presence in Kangundo, and I’ve initiated discussions with the PS for vocational and technical training. Hopefully, we’ll soon receive positive news. I encourage Kangundo schools to strive for excellence,” Fabian stated.

The Chair of the Kangundo chapter of the Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association, Fidelis Kimeu also commended the MP’s efforts and expressed gratitude for the substantial book donations.

Primary schools received 20 books each, while secondary schools received books based on subject requirements, significantly benefiting the students’ education.

He further said that the local education community is committed to achieving higher academic standards.
