Emuhaya MP’s boost for university students

The Emuhaya Constituency Legislator who doubles up as the National Chairman of Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) Omboko Milema has issued bursaries worth Sh1.6 million to first year university students.

While addressing the press at National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) offices, the MP revealed that a total of 256 students became beneficiaries of the programme this year as compared to the previous year where 140 students received the funds. 

He emphasized his commitment to invest more funds through NG-CDF towards the education sector.

Also present during the press briefing was former Emuhaya branch Knut chairman Mr. David Tianyi amongest other stakeholders.
