Sigor Boys High School in Bomet County is embarking on an immediate relocation to a new site at Mismis to give room the expansion of Bomet University College.
This move, set to be completed by August 1, 2025, will open up the school’s current premises for the ambitious expansion plans of Bomet University College, which intends to welcome its first cohort of students to the acquired location as early as September 14, 2025.
The public notice, issued by Rutoh Frankline, the BOM Secretary for Sigor High School, clearly outlines the transition.

“Sigor Boys High School is on the process of relocating to new site at Mismis with immediate effect. This process will be completed on 1/8/2025 thereafter, Bomet University College will take over the old school,” stated the announcement, which also appealed for public patience during this transitional period.
“They intend to bring students as from 14/9/2025. We therefore, ask members of the public to be patient and beginning term three all transactions of Sigor Boys will be at Mismis.” He further added
All school-related transactions for Sigor Boys High School will officially commence at the Mismis location from the start of Term Three.
