The Kenya Red Cross Society West Pokot Branch held inter schools First Aid competitions on 18th June 2022 at its grounds.
The competition aimed to equip the students with basic First Aid skills to be applied in schools and in the society.
Nasokol Girls High School topped in the secondary schools category followed by Ortum Boys High school and St. Anne’s (Chelopoi) from Pokot North Sub County were the second runner up.
In the Primary category Makutano Central clinched the top position while St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Primary School came second.
West Pokot Branch Chairman Benson Ririmpoi who was flanked by the branch’s coordinator Scola Kapelo applauded the participating schools and urged the schools to recruit more students to the society.
