Lwala community alliance has donated an ambulance to Rongo sub-county hospital to help boost maternal health care within the sub county and Migori county as a whole.
The donation will aid in the transportation of patients to the hospital which hasn’t had an ambulance to use to respond to emergencies.
Speaking during the handing over of the ambulance to the Ministry of health, chief of staff at Lwala community alliance Mr. Robert Kasabala noted that it’s important to give protection and better healthcare to mothers.
Migori county chief of staff in charge of medical services Dr Dalmas Oyugi noted that the NGO had played a major role in positively impacting health services across the county.
