Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has delivered a school bus to Kugisingisi Mixed Senior School in Kuria West Constituency, two months after promising to provide one.
The handover was hosted by Kuria West MP Mathias Robi. Migori Governor Ochilo Ayacko, nominated MP Dennitah Ghati and several Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) attended.
Speaking at the handover, Mr Mbadi said he was glad to have turned his pledge into reality.
He described the bus as a contribution to learner safety, quality education and equal access to opportunities, noting that reliable transport supports students, especially those who travel long distances to school.
The school is expected to use the vehicle for learners' movement, educational trips, sporting competitions, academic engagements and other extracurricular activities.
