The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced that its 95th graduation ceremony will take place on December 3, 2026, at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, in Nairobi.

The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 8am, will bring together graduands from the institution's various campuses to celebrate the completion of their medical and health-related training.

KMTC Chief Executive Officer Dr Kelly Oluoch said this year's graduation will be held under the theme, "Mashujaa wa Afya".

In a notice, the college directed prospective graduands to check the provisional graduation list published on its website and ensure their names are correctly spelt and arranged.

Those seeking corrections have until noon on November 12, 2026, to submit their requests through the designated online link.

The college clarified that only corrections involving the spelling or arrangement of existing names would be permitted, with no additions or deletions allowed.

It said the names must correspond with details captured in the college's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, admission letters and national identity cards.

Graduands seeking changes to their certificates after the November 12 deadline will be required to pay Sh5,000.

Graduation fees and gown collection

KMTC also directed graduands who have not settled their graduation fees to make payments through the Jiunge platform by November 13, warning that cash payments would not be accepted.

Collection of graduation gowns will take place at the college's headquarters in Nairobi from November 16 to 27, between 9am and 4pm on weekdays.

Graduands will be required to present proof of fee clearance, a campus clearance form, a graduation fee payment receipt and their original national identity cards before receiving the gowns.

The institution has set December 16 as the deadline for returning the gowns, warning that a penalty of Sh100 per day will be imposed for late returns.

Mandatory rehearsal and certificate collection

All graduands are expected to attend the mandatory rehearsal on December 2 at 8am at the Kasarani sports complex.

KMTC said the ceremony would be conducted physically and broadcast live through various media platforms to enable those unable to attend to follow the proceedings.

Graduation certificates will be ready for collection at the college headquarters from December 7 to 16, between 9am and 4pm on weekdays, subject to fulfilment of the required clearance procedures.
