Nakuru Town West MP has assured parents with Form One students in his constituency that they have no reason to worry about school fee payment as he has pledged to pay term one fees in full.
Speaking when he hosted a thanksgiving event after receiving Jubilee party primaries certificate, the MP, Samuel Arama, assured parents that the NG-CDF kitty will ensure all Form One students are in school, addeding that this was in line with government policy on 100 percent transition.
The second term serving Lawmaker reiterated that that the gesture was not political, but as a leader he was determined to ensure all children are in school.
“I want to state here categorically that all Form One students in this constituency must get bursary for full first term. Let parents buy other necessities but the NG-CDF office will cater for first term fee,” he said.
The vocal Legislator took the opportunity to hit at the Deputy President, William Ruto and his allies, over what he termed is trying to interfere with Nakuru Town West politics.
According to him, Nakuru Town West residents fully back Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance.
“I want to tell Deputy President William Ruto and Susan Kihika that let them focus on their political career and stop trying to interfere with Nakuru Town West politics,” said Arama.
Arama also used the moment to drum support for the Alliance and Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga. He reminded his constituents that Azimio was the way to go and that the coalition would form the next government.
“We are in Azimio and everyone has agreed that is the way to go. In Nakuru Town West, there is no politics of division and no one should try to bring such. We want leaders who can deliver,” he said.
