Kituro High School students have protested the proposed dates for end term closing by the school management.
It is reported that the boys from the school in Baringo Central, Baringo County left the school compound at night around 2 am in protest after the school management set 22nd December as term closing date.
The students from the mixed school wanted the school to be closed for the christmass break by end of this week.
The report further revealed that the boys who insisted of an early christmass break were seen stranded in Kabarnet town at the bus stage around day break. The girls however remained in school.
The country has recently witnessed a spate of school unrests that has been blamed on the pressure to finish the syllabus in time.
