Teacher found defiling school girl escapes mob justice by a whisker

School girl dies after being denied treatment

A teacher thinly escaped lynching from a blood-thirsty mob at Keroka town after he was allegedly found defiling a school girl in a guest house.

According to her parents at their Ichuni area home, the girl left home on Monday morning and by night, she had not arrived yet prompting concern into her whereabouts.

They were tipped by a boda boda rider who ferried the girl to meet the teacher.

When the parents reached town, they were met with a crowd who had got wind of the illicit affair and had broken into the hotel and forced the door open finding the duo pants down.

They threatened to lynch the teacher for misleading the minor but the police arrived on time and rescued him.

“Good Samaritans alerted us, we rushed there and rescued the suspect,” said Masaba North sub county Police Commander Robert Ndambiri, who also confirmed the suspect’s arrest.

He warned the public against taking the law into their hands and instead let the law take its course.

Ndambiri said that the suspect will be arraigned in court after investigations are completed.

The girl was taken to Gucha Hospital where her defilement was confirmed and admitted that she has been in a love affair with the teacher for one year.
