De Montfort University (DMU) is pleased to be hosting the fourth Kenyan Students’ Conference and all Kenyan students are warmly invited to attend by the Kenyan High Commission.
The conference will take place on Saturday, 07th October 2023 at the De Montfort University, Leicester LE1 9BH and admission is free.
The theme of the event is ‘Cultivate a Transformative Mindset: Build Kenya’ and the guest of honour will be the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education of Kenya, Ezekiel Machogu.
The conference aims to support students in life after university, and students will be engaged in discussions on employment opportunities, self-employment options, transitioning back to life in Kenya and going into the workplace in both Kenya and the United Kingdom (UK).
It will therefore give students the tools and the principles to help build Kenya as well as inspire them to use the knowledge they have acquired for the realization of Kenya’s development agenda under Vision 2030.
Kenyan students will also have the exclusive opportunity to network and hear about real-life experiences from alumni and peers; as well as have the chance to ask questions and interact with senior government officials, academics and industry professionals.
