The education fraternity in Bomet County is mourning the sudden death of Paul Kipngeny Kirui, the Curriculum Support Officer (CSO) for Sigor Zone in Chepalungu Sub-County.
Kirui died in a road accident after reportedly falling from a moving motorbike. He previously served as a teacher at Kapkelei Primary School before he was appointed a CSO.
On social media, colleagues, friends, and family expressed shock and grief.

On Facebook, Emmanuel Kipkirui Lasoi wrote: “Pole sana bwana CSO, your death has hit our family the hard way. Paul Kipngeny Kirui, rest in eternal peace, daddy.”
Journalist Mgenje also posted on Facebook: “TSC CSO in Bomet, Paul Kipngeny Kirui, dies in a road accident after falling from a motorbike in motion. May he rest in Eternal peace.”
Kirui was renowned for his dedication to supporting teachers and enhancing the delivery of the curriculum.
