The police in Kisii County have started investigation on the cause of the death of Kisii National polytechnic student.
According to the residents of Sage Miwa in Kisii Central Sub County, the deceased who was taking Clothes and Design course at Kisii National polytechnic was found dead in her rental house on Tuesday morning.
“We waited for her to open but she failed, we peep through the window and saw the still body lying on the bed and called the police for assistance.” said a close neighbor.
Her colleagues said that they saw the deceased in the college the previous day evening when they were from campus for their hostels.
“She was very active and jovial and did not show any suspicious behavior,” said her colleague who identified her herself as Emma Akinyi.

When her colleagues discovered that she missed class, they made several calls that went unanswered and that prompted them to send a few friends to make a follow up to the deceased’s residents where they were met with a rude shock of her demise.
When education News reported at scene it was full of the curious public and the bereaved students of Kisii National Polytechnic.
Kisii Central police took the body to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital pending further investigation, though declined to reveal her identity until her relatives come along.
“We know her but we cannot disclose much details until the next of kin gave been notified,” said one police officer.
This mysterious death comes barely three months after female student from the institutions perished as she slipped into a sagging and collapsing pit latrine at her Mwembe estate rental room.
