Senende High School Principal Albert Masiolo (pictured) was elected new chairperson for the Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KESHA) county chapter.
He took over from Ezekiel Ayiego who was transferred to Chesamis Boys in Bungoma County following the countrywide principal’s transfer late last year.
A happy Masiolo said it is an honour to serve the teachers in the region.
The elections were held at Vihiga High School where new leadership was also elected.
Lusengeli Secondary School Principal Mathews Mageso was elected vice chairman; Joel Omutsani of Ebusiloli got secretary position and Elphas Mudheri, Chanda principal was elected treasurer.
Other officials are Zadock Onyino, organising secretary, Joyce Agalo, vice treasurer, Beatrice Sangale, vice secretary, David Nganyi, vice organising secretary, Mary Akunja, protocol, Florence Lodenyo, gender and Kennedy Okoth, chair academics.
