Bungoma High School is mourning the death of former teacher Kevina Omedo, who has died after battling cancer.
Ms Omedo taught Geography at the institution. Although she had retired from active service, former colleagues and students recall her commitment to academic excellence, discipline and mentorship.
She is also remembered for the motherly care she extended to learners, which earned her respect within the school community.
Her death has been felt by the Bungoma High School fraternity, as well as by her family, friends, former students and colleagues.
