The letter addressing students’ parents and stakeholders indicated that the security situations affecting parts of the county has not in any way impacted the university.

“The region that is experiencing insecurity (Ol Moran) is located 75 kilometers away from the university and so bears no attachment to the university,” the letter reads in part.

The first year students reported to the institution even as the continuing students are progressing with learning.
