Parents have been asked to design constructive routines for their children to keep them busy and away from drugs and bad company during the long December holidays.

He thanked his NG-CDF committee for starting a constituency soccer tournament, which he said will go a long way to identify sports talent among the youth for further support, besides occupying the children during the long recess.

Blaming drugs for the rising insecurity in the region, he promised that his office will give priority to the support of education development projects and security.

He asked parents to provide warm clothing for their children as El-Nino rains pound to protect them from cold-related diseases like pneumonia.
