Nyamira students urged to stay focused to achieve their dreams

Adams Mochenwa, a Nyamira County-based philanthropist and professional engineer, has urged students to stay focused on their studies and avoid pitfalls like drug abuse, bad company, and teenage marriages that lead to school dropouts.

He made the appeal while speaking to students at Nimi Secondary School in West Mugirango Constituency on Friday.

During the interactive session, he encouraged students to excel in science-related subjects to increase their chances of securing university placements and pursuing in-demand careers.

“The job market is super competitive, and it’s our responsibility as adults to guide you towards opportunities that’ll benefit your future,” he said.

Mochenwa also offered to provide financial assistance to needy students, asking the school principal to compile a list of beneficiaries. He donated books and food worth Sh200,000 to the school.
