The University of Kabianga has resumed normal academic operations following the conclusion of an industrial action that disrupted learning at the institution.
In an internal memo issued on Monday, November 2, 2026, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic and Student Affairs directed all students and staff to resume lectures and adhere to the approved teaching timetable.
The university also instructed students to clear outstanding fee balances and complete their registration to meet the requirements for continued academic participation.
The circular also warned that students with outstanding fees would not be allowed to sit end-of-semester examinations or participate in field trips.(Education News Kenya — https://educationnews.co.ke/news/university-of-kabianga-resumes-lectures-after-industrial-action)
