The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released the 2026 Teacher Education Assessment and Examination results, paving the way for candidates in various teacher training programmes to establish their performance.
The results cover candidates who sat the Teacher Certificate in Adult Education (TCAE), Special Needs Education (SNE) Levels 1 and 2, Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) and Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education (DSTE) examinations.
In a notice announcing the release, candidates were advised to obtain their results through their respective teacher training colleges.

However, access to the results has been linked to the settlement of outstanding payments, with KNEC indicating that only colleges that have made full payment have received their results. The condition means candidates whose colleges have not cleared the required payments may have to wait until the institutions meet their outstanding financial obligations before their results become available.

The release marks a significant milestone for teacher trainees pursuing professional qualifications in primary education, secondary education, adult education and special needs education, enabling candidates to establish their performance as they prepare for the next stage of their professional development.

Candidates have been urged to contact their respective college administrations for information on accessing their results and any further instructions regarding the process. KNEC is responsible for the assessment and certification of learners and candidates in various education and training programmes in Kenya.
