MP vows to uplift education sector

Keiyo South Member of Parliament Daniel Rono has vowed to uplift educational standards in the area.
The MP said he will initiate development projects aimed at improving the future lives of children.
Speaking to the press recently at the CDF offices in Nyaru, the Rono said that he has started visiting schools to address the challenges they are facing and is attending important functions in schools to mobilize parents to take keen interest on their children’s studies.
The MP emphasized on importance of academic days saying that parents should be serious on attending them.
“I want to look for more funds other than the CDF through lobbying and approaching stakeholders for support. I am working on improving the learning facilities in our schools and I want to see all our children learning in an enabling environment,” Rono said.
