A somber mood has engulfed Kisumu Boys High School following the death of school Principal Peter Obwogo.
The late Obwogo was earlier in the week rushed to the Aga Khan hospital while critically ill for an unspecified medical condition.
After his death, Kisumu Governor Professor Peter Nyongo sent a
message of condolence to the family of the departed.

Nyongo said the late Obwogo was a professional who steered the
institution to greater academic heights since his posting.

“His death was a surprise to me and the entire county for loosing a key person in the education sector,” he said.
Obwogo was recently transferred from St. Joseph’s Kitale and promoted to Principal, Kisumu Boys High School.
Before his demise, he had shown interest in an electoral seat in Busia, his home county.
