KEMI to conduct training for school BoMs

Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI) has announced the training of all school Board of Managements (BOMs) that is set to take place during the April holiday. The BoMs will be represented by school principals, who are secretaries to the school management body.

The training is scheduled to take place between; April 19 to April 21 this year.

At the same time, KEMI has said that payment for the training is Sh15, 000 per school and Sh 500 per person on a single day in the entire period that the training is set to take place.

On the other hand, the agency has asked the school heads to pay the Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KESSHA) funds and clear any outstanding arrears to enable a swift planning and occurrence of the events.

The amount is to be paid in time to the CHESSA account.

KEMI is a capacity building agency for the Ministry of Education which serves as a springboard for advancing best management practices in the education sector.
