The Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI), working with the Ministry of Education, will hold an online induction training for newly appointed Senior School Principals from November 16 to 20, 2026.
The five-day virtual workshop is meant to give the new heads management and administrative skills as they take charge of senior schools across the country.
Participants will be trained in leadership, financial resource management, curriculum implementation, learner welfare and strategies for improving institutional performance. The organisers said the virtual format will allow educators from across the country to take part and will be interactive.
Registration is open at a fee of Sh1,000. Newly appointed principals must register through the portal at attendance.kemi.ac.ke, or scan the official event QR code, to confirm their participation before the start date.
More information on the curriculum and schedule is available from the institute through its official communication channels.
