The recent retooling of Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers in West Pokot County has boosted the implementation of CBE in the county’s schools.

The workshop, which took place at Nasokol Girls’ High School during the April holiday, equipped the teachers with a wide range of skills in key areas covered by tutors.

Teachers in attendance were taken through the following important areas: Revised Retooling guidelines, Reporting Assessments Outcome, Competency-Based Assessment tools, Authentic Assessment, Administration of School-Based Assessment, Professional Documents, and Assessment of Core Competencies.
