Makueni county Teachers Service Commission (TSC) deputy director David Gutu has urged teachers who fail to secure jobs after interviews not to be discouraged.
Speaking at Makueni Boys high school where interviews for 15 different secondary schools were being conducted, Gutu urged the teachers to keep on visiting TSC portal for updates on job vacancies and apply immediately in case of vacancies.
“I will urge the teachers to offer themselves as BOMs to help perfect their teaching skills as well as keep up with the current trends and the standards of education,” he added.
He cautioned the applicants against fraudsters who are out to con them in the pretext of securing for them jobs.
