Students at Nyabisase DEB Mixed secondary school have been urged to clearly define their goals in their career pursuit.
Speaking at the institution during the school’s mentorship day, the alumni urged the students to shun social evils that might bar them from achieving their goals.
Led by Mrs Dorothy Mamwacha, a professional accountant, the old students urged female learners not to shy away from taking Science subjects with the notion that only boys excel in
the subjects.
‘I can testify that a woman can do anything a man does,’ she pointed out.
She praised the school management for establishing a good tradition of good performance and attributed it to discipline and self-devotion.
The deputy principal Mr. Tom Samora thanked the alumni for their timely encouragement arguing that it will synergize the candidates as they prepare for the 2021 KCSE examinations.
He revealed that the school has a target of 7.00 and expressed optimism that the candidates will achieve their targets as they have put their best legs forward.
During the occasion, many students pledged to meet their targets in the forthcoming KCSE examinations.
