St. Joseph Rapogi High School celebrates improved results after national recognition by the education cabinet secretary during the release of the 2020 KCSE results yesterday.
The institution was recognized among the schools with the most improved mean score across the country. It recorded a mean of 8.2 from 7.2 in 2019.
Jackson Owino, the school’s Deputy Principal also said two of their students scored A plain while they had 43 students with A- which was an improvement from 25 recorded in the year 2019.
“With the results compiled we have 381 who have scored C plus and above qualified to join university out of 422 students, this is a big record compared to that of last year where we only had 253,” Owino said.
He said the improvement is owed to the fact that there has been teamwork from teachers, parents and candidates despite schools going into a long recess caused by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country that saw students stay at home for eight months.
