The Lamu Knut Executive Secretary Ibrahim Shaibu retained his seat after he was elected unopposed in recent branch elections held in Lamu town.
He thanked teachers in the county for electing him and assured them that he will continue to fight for their rights.
Others elected unopposed were Abdul Halmu “Vice Executive Secretary, Mohammed Naji (Chairman) and Adam Bashiri (Treasurer).Shaibu asked all education stakeholders to work as a team in order to improve standards in the region.
