About 3,000 learners from North Imenti constituency have benefited from Constituency Development Fund (CDF) bursary funds worth Sh21.7 million.
Area MP Rahim Dawood said that out of the total Sh21.7 million the college students will receive Sh7.3 million, secondary learners Sh10.2 million while the physically challenged students were allocated Sh4.3 million.
Speaking at Kinoru stadium when he issued the cheques, the MP assured the residents that more money would be set aside to enable needy students pay their school fees.
