Wajir Teachers Training College (WTTC) has announced that its 2026 graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the college campus grounds.
The ceremony will mark a milestone for the institution as it celebrates the academic accomplishments of its latest cohort of trainee teachers. Graduating trainees will come from three programmes: the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE), the Upgrading Diploma in Early Childhood Education and the Upgrading Diploma in Primary Teacher Education. The college leadership said the event reflects both individual student success and WTTC's continued commitment to strengthening professional teacher training in the region.
In preparation for the ceremony, the college administration has issued instructions to all graduating students. Official graduation gowns will be available for collection from the Registrar's Office from Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
A mandatory rehearsal will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00noon on campus, and all graduands are expected to attend. Students are also required to clear a graduation fee of Ksh3,000, which must be paid exclusively through the official college account.
WTTC Principal Abass Maalim extended a warm invitation to all graduands, noting that their participation represents a moment of great significance for the entire college community. He commended the trainees for their hard work and reaffirmed the institution's readiness to celebrate their achievement alongside them. For further details or administrative inquiries regarding the ceremony, graduands have been advised to contact the Office of the College Registrar.
