Tasur said the late principal’s contribution to education would remain part of his legacy, adding that the loss would be felt by colleagues, learners and the wider school community.

He also extended his condolences to Tonui’s family, friends and colleagues, urging them to remain strong as they came to terms with the loss.

The KUPPET official said the death of a colleague was a difficult moment for the profession, given the shared responsibility teachers have in nurturing learners and preparing them for the future.
