Sot Technical Training Institute in Bomet has postponed its second graduation ceremony to Friday, December 11, 2026, giving graduands more time to prepare and complete the required clearance procedures.
In a notice on its official Facebook page, the institution said the ceremony, earlier set for November 6, will now be held on December 11.
According to an internal memorandum issued by the institute's Registrar, Christopher Koech, on September 29, the graduation will bring together students who completed their studies between November 2022 and March 2026.

Clearance requirements

The institute has urged all eligible graduands to complete the necessary administrative requirements early to avoid last-minute inconveniences.
  1. Graduands must submit copies of their result slips and certificates to the Smart Room Class for verification under the Registrar's supervision.
  2. They must also verify their CDACC results at the Smart Room Class and submit the required documents.
  3. KNEC and NITA results are to be checked at the Registrar's office.

    Graduation fee

Each graduand will pay Sh2,500 to cover gowns and other logistical arrangements. Those who made prepayments have been advised to visit the accounts office, so the necessary adjustments can be made.
All payments must be made through the institute's account using M-Pesa Paybill number 625625, with the graduand's admission number as the account number.
The Registrar had earlier directed graduands to ensure their names were on the graduation list by October 15, 2026. With the ceremony now moved to December, graduands are expected to follow the updated arrangements and complete any outstanding clearances as directed.
