School heads in the Coast region have been advised to work extra hard in order to post better results in this year’s KCPE and KCSE national examinations.
Speaking to Education News in her Mombasa office recently, new TSC Coast Regional Director, Mrs. Juliet Kariuki, urged teachers in the region to double their efforts so as to improve education standards in the area.
She said that teachers play a vital role in the country by ensuring the dissemination of quality education to children.
“You are duty-bound to offer quality education to children under your supervision without fail,” she said.
Kariuki further asked school heads to ensure the syllabus is completed on time to pave the way for thorough revision for candidates.
The Regional Director urged teachers to adhere to the TSC Code of Conduct to ensure they discharge their duties professionally.
She further asked parents in the region to support education programmes in order to make them a success.
Kariuki wished all the 2023 candidates in the region the best in their forthcoming national examinations.
