A boy who attained 355 marks and was invited to join Tengecha Boys High school is appealing for financial help to join the school.
Peter Kipyegon who sat for his KCPE at Litein Primary School said his admission to the school risked being lost after his mother’s failure to secure the mandatory payments of Sh40, 000 per year.
“I have gone through a lot of agony while witnessing my chance to join Tengecha Boys School slipping through my hands. I am appealing for help to join the school and study. I would like to be a pilot in future,” he said.
His mother, Ann Chesang who is single and a casual labourer tearfully narrated how her efforts in securing admission to the Kapkatet based Tengecha Boys failed.“After getting the admission letter to the school I struggled so to raise the money which was required in the school for the first term. I managed to raise Sh4000 which was too small an amount but the school told me they could not admit the boy since the monies deposited was not enough”, she said.
She gave a line where Mpesa contributions can be channeled as 0724529507.
