Narok County set to host term two Rift Valley secondary schools’ games amid wildebeest migration

After the successful conclusion of the Rift Valley secondary schools’ term one games in Nakuru County, the focus now shifts to the eagerly awaited term two games.

This year, Narok County will play host, returning after nearly a decade—the last games held here were in 2014.

The competition will include football, volleyball, netball, basketball 3 aside and racquet games.

Narok County Secondary Schools Sports Association (NCSSSA) Vice Chairman, Parmale Kuluo, confirmed that preparations are in full swing. “We are ready to host students from across the region and ensure a competitive and well-organised championship,” he said.

This year’s games come at a unique time, coinciding with the annual wildebeest migration, offering participants a rare opportunity to witness one of the world’s most spectacular natural events.

Schools and students will also be experiencing the iconic world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

The organisers emphasise that safety, accommodation, and logistics have been prioritised to ensure smooth operations throughout the tournament.

This year, participants will not only chase sporting glory but also enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness the majestic wildebeest migration, making the Term Two Games in Narok a truly unforgettable experience.
