Mukaa Girls Secondary School has registered a mean score of 6.9137 in the 2023 KCSE, up from 6.752 in 2022.
Speaking to Education News during celebrations at the school, Principal Norah Muli attributed the good performance to collective responsibility among stakeholders.
She said that the improvement shows that they are working even harder, with the top 5 candidates scoring grades B plus, 13 with B plain and 27 had B minus.

With pride, Muli noted that the school improved in most subjects as well and that out of a candidature of 139, 81 of them will be transitioning to university.
“A percentage of 58.27 is not that bad for an extra county school like ours. We are working tirelessly to make sure more transition to university,” she said.
