girl mentally Form stabbed death

The lifeless body of a Form one boy has been found floating in a dam after he mysteriously disappeared on Wednesday, May 24 from Ndururumo High School in Laikipia county.

Stallion Kipletting Bett’s body was discovered floating in a dam at Nyahururu Sports and Golf Club.

The 15-year old boy was reported missing at Nyahururu Police Station after a fruitless search launched by the school and his family when he suddenly vanished from the school compound.

According to Nyahururu sub-county Deputy Commissioner Muthike Ndambuki, the body was still in full school uniform at the time it was discovered by a worker at the club who alerted the management.

One student at the school claimed that Stallion appeared depressed and disturbed before he went missing.

“Hours before he went missing, Stallion seemed depressed and there was definitely something bothering him. But he mysteriously went missing before we could establish what was disturbing him,” he said.

Another student also revealed that the teenager might have sneaked out of school before he met his death.

“He must have sneaked from school before he met his death. Probably, he came across hippopotamuses which frequent the surrounding areas and in the process, he fell in the dam while trying to save his life,” the student said.

Police have since launched investigations to find out what could have led to his death because the body had no visible marks.

Mr. Ndambuki has called on members of the public to help police with investigations adding that the post-mortem is set to be conducted to establish what might have transpired.
