Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has released a statement reviewing the school reopening dates from Monday, August 15, 2022 to Thursday, August 18, 2022.
In a press release to media houses on Saturday, August 13, the CS stated that the new dates supersede the Ministry’s earlier communication on the reopening of all Basic Education institutions.
The shift in dates has been caused by the delay of the tallying of polls following the country’s general elections conducted on Tuesday August 9, 2022.
