The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has released the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) timetable.
As outlined in the timetable unveiled last week the national exams officially began in January, with students working on projects for subjects like Agriculture and Computer Studies, which are set to be completed within 7 months.
The official rehearsal day will take place on Friday, October 17.
The writing exams will commence on Monday, November 3, 2025, starting with English Paper 1 and Chemistry Paper 1. Mathematics Paper 1 is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4.
The exams will conclude on Friday, November 21, 2025, with Physics practical exams scheduled for that day.
KNEC has urged students and teachers to prepare thoroughly for the national exam and warned that strict action will be taken against anyone caught engaging in exam malpractice.

“Any person who gains access to examination material and knowingly reveals the contents, whether orally or in writing, to an unauthorized party, whether a candidate or not, will violate Section 27 of the Act. The penalty will be imprisonment for up to 10 years, or a fine not exceeding Ksh2 million, or both,” the instructions stated.

“Any person who willfully and maliciously damages examination material will violate Section 30 of the Act. The penalty will be imprisonment for up to 5 years, a fine not exceeding Ksh5 million, or both.”
