KEPSHA invites school heads to 18th AGM

Kenya Primary Schools Headteachers Association (KEPSHA) has sent an invitation to primary school headteachers to attend its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to take place at Sheikh Zayed Children Welfare Centre, Mombasa from December 3 – 9, 2022.

In a letter dated June 15, 2022, KEPSHA National Chairman Johnson Matheka Nzioka said the meeting, whose theme is Managing the Transition of Competency Based Curriculum for Effective Nurturing of Each Learner’s Potential, will provide an opportunity to professionals to bridge the knowledge gap, promote research esteem and evolution of education.

To participate in the conference, the heads will be required to have Ksh 46,000 out of which, Ksh 6, 000 will be remitted to the respective Sub County offices as conference fee.

The deadline for making payments is October 30, 2022.

KEPSHA has a membership of about 23,000 heads, some of whom are private school heads.

The annual meetings give the members an opportunity to discuss issues affecting them such as the contentious CBC, promotion, delocalization policy as well as teacher shortage in schools among others.
