Kenyan teams that won the Kenya Secondary School Sports Association championships will represent the country in the 20th annual Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports championship (FEASSSA) being held in Arusha, Tanzania.
The championships commenced yesterday, 14th September and will run up to Friday, 23rd September.
Wiyeta Girls from Rift valley region and Dagoreti Mixed from Nairobi region were the best girls’ soccer teams with Wiyeta Girls being crowned as the 2022 Kenya Girls Soccer Champions while Dagoretti Mixed were the runners-up.

The boys’ soccer teams that made it to Arusha were Bukembe High from Western region and Highway High from Nairobi.
In Volleyball, Kenya will be represented by Kwanthanze from Eastern region and Keseson Girls for the girls and Cheptil High from Rift valley region and Namwela High from Western region for the boys. Kwanthanzee and Cheptil high were champions though in the boys’ category while Keseson Girls and Namwela high were the runners-up.
Rugby teams that have made it to the championship were from Western region; Koyonzo High who bagged the crown and Butula High.
Basketball teams for both girls and boys that dominated the play were from Coast region; Kayatiwi Girls high and Dr. Aggrey Boys’ high school. Olympic Girls high and Dagoretti Boys high were the runners-up and both hail from Nairobi region.

Moi Girls’ high school Kamusinga from Western region became the Girls handball champions with St. Joseph Kitale from Rift Valley region coming in at number two.
In the Boys’ category, Kimilili High achieved champion status while the runner-up position was clinched by Hospital Hill from Nairobi region.
In Netball, the championship went to Kobala High from Nyanza region while the runner-up was Bumula AC from Western.
All teams that bagged the 2022 championships in all games were awarded medals and a trophy while the runners-up were awarded medals only.
