Emerging reports have indicated that a secondary school teacher from Isiolo County, who claimed to have been attacked by students, was assaulted by strangers on his way home from a drinking spree.
The teacher at Oldonyiro Secondary School had alleged that he was assaulted by students before it was established later that he was attacked by unknown people while on his way home from a police canteen in Oldonyiro trading centre.
According to the Isiolo County Director of Education Dr. Hussein Koryow official, Mr. Gaichu Mugambi was attacked around midnight when he had already left the school compound and the students were already asleep.
