A sombre mood has engulfed residents of Kithimani ward in Yatta sub county of Machakos county after a 24 year old teacher on practice committed suicide by hanging himself with wires tied to rafters inside Kithendu Secondary School’s conference hall on Sunday evening.
Reports from the institution reveal that a security guard found the room locked from inside and broke into it to find the teacher dangling from the wires tied above.
Area police boss revealed that investigations are underway. Detectives are going through the deceased’s phone to find out the people he talked to before committing the heinous act.
No suicide note was found at the scene. The deceased’s body was taken to Mbaku Funeral Home waiting an autopsy.
