Two families from Kisukioni in Matungulu sub county, Machakos county are in agony after their daughters got lost on Wednesday, November 16.
The two girls – Esther Nthenya and Sharon Mwongeli – are Class Seven pupils at Kisukioni Primary school.
According to one of the parents, Redempta Kanini, the two girls escaped from school.
She notes that earlier, they had sought permission to leave for the barbershop to shave but had been denied.
She notes that efforts to trace the two girls have proven futile and has requested for Good Samaritans to assist in finding them.
“They left their bags at school and haven’t been back ever since. We have searched and waited in vain. We even thought they would come back to school but they didn’t,” she says.
The matter has been reported to Kisukioni Police post under OB numbers; 05/17/11/22 and 06/17/11/22.
