Primary school heads have been urged not to relocate Early Childhood Development Education learners from classrooms constructed by the County Government.
Chief Officer in charge of ECDE education in Busia County Lydia Nabwire said
this while handing over new ECDE classroom to Emagombe Primary School in
Marachi Central Ward to the school Board of Management.
She said the department is planning to ensure that more ECDE classrooms are
constructed to provide learners with good environment, adding that ECDE
teachers who are on contract will be employed on permanent and pensionable
basis.
She said that the ECDE Class will be provided with charts to make the learning
process interesting for the children among other learning and teaching
material.
