Delocalisation of teachers receives rare support

By John Majau

Tharaka-Nithi County Executive Committee member for Education, Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism, Abraham Maruta has supported delocalisation of teachers despite the exercise getting a lot of opposition from many quarters countrywide.
He said the exercise will bring integration, national healing and a sense of nationality once teachers are posted outside their counties of birth.
Speaking at Rubati Teachers Training College during 23rd graduation ceremony, Maruta said teachers should always accept to be posted to teach in any part of the country.
